ACUPRESSURE/TRIGGER POINTS
Just like acupuncture, except with fingers & tools instead of needles. Pressure is applied to Chinese meridian points on the body that encourage healing and energy flow. Different to experience but a very effective relaxation or pain management modality and is a nice complement to any session.
CHINESE MEDICAL "TUI NA"
Gentle or aggressive type pressure and movements with fists, palms, fingers, forearms, acupressure, chopping, cupping, skin rolling and stretching are involved. Our specialty!
RELAXATION "SWEDISH"
Gentle kneading, compression and gliding the muscles to encourage your body to regroup, release and relax.
DEEP THERAPEUTIC "SPORTS MASSAGE"
This one is a real workout. You'll get attention to problem areas with aggressive pressure. While it can be exhausting to receive this type of massage, you'll feel great the next day. We'll warn you, you may become a deep tissue junkie.
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE "CONNECTIVE TISSUE WORK"
Myofascial work is an incredible feeling. It's very relaxing and really doesn't involve much pressure. This work warms, loosens, unwinds and stretches the fascia [the tissue between the muscles] so muscles release more freely and they are more free flowing on one another. All we can say is "WOW!"
